History · Katimavik area
How are Katimavik's streets named?
Short answer
Wikipedia says most streets follow neighbourhood themes. The north-east section uses Arctic explorers, the south-east uses Canadian broadcasters and entertainers, and the west uses Canadian inventors. The former Town Centre lands north of Katimavik Road use Ontario premiers and lieutenant governors.
